Everybody Should Own This Concealed Carry Holster!

Marion McDough | Saturday, April 20, 2024

On my 31st birthday, I bought my first firearm after moving from a my home town to a larger city for a job.

It was a great decision for me and for my family. It is true that I was a little too immature before thirty to buy a weapon, but I was also in much better shape and I had a reasonable expectation that I would be able to handle things on my own if they came my way.

As a high school wrestler (two-time state champion!) and a karate student, I thought I was tough for my size. However, when I saw how dangerous a mob can be, I realized no matter how tough I was, it was nothing compared to someone armed and insane – or a mob.

Any American who knows their history knows that there have been riots and mob violence off and on over the years.

Until recently, I didn’t live in a city where I might experience that, but now I have.

I’ve seen the carnage caused by criminals and thieves breaking into homes and businesses. It’s one thing to watch this kind of stuff on television, it’s totally different to have to take another route home because the streets are blocked off by chaos and what sounds like a war zone.

It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. There was shouting, glass breaking, and sirens all over.

I had one thought as I walked around all this:

Bruce Lee is an absolute badass. Bruce Lee is my hero, but even he couldn’t handle twenty, thirty, fifty people at once without a firearm. If Bruce Lee can’t handle it, neither can I.

There is no question that firearms prevent over 100,000 violent crimes each year without even being fired, according to FBI statistics. They serve as a deterrent. If you produce a firearm in the face of hostility, burglary, or injury from someone, they’ll think again.

Feeling unsafe was intolerable for me, so I vowed to find a solution. Having done my research, I selected a firearm based on how easy it is to conceal and how reliable it is: the Sig Sauer P365.

I tried open carry for a while, but everyone was staring at me, and I could tell that many individuals were uncomfortable. While I was content knowing I had a legal right to open carry, I did not like that level of attention I was attracting in public, so I decided that I needed a conceal & carry permit. Personal security wise, I prefer that potential attackers don’t know I have a firearm on me. There’s no guarantee that aggressive situations will arise, but if they do, you need every advantage you can get to respond. The element of surprise will give you the advantage you need. My first holster was an IWB (inside the waistband) holster. It fits a firearm that is compact. Although it is small, I still had trouble tying my shoes while carrying it. Any time I bent over at all I was uncomfortable.

At the gun store, the guy told me conceal and carry was going to be uncomfortable, but I didn’t expect it to be this uncomfortable. To find the perfect compromise between comfort and concealment, I tried several different holsters and every position of my waistband. My side, stomach, or back would be irritated by the holster. One day, I mentioned this to a coworker, who replied, “Safety or comfort, man.”. There is no such thing as both. Wouldn’t you rather be uncomfortable with your weapon than comfortable and in a situation where you need it but don’t have it?”

Of course the answer was yes, but I couldn’t believe people would just put up with such discomfort. I went to another dealer to discuss my options. When he told me that a revolutionary product was coming out, I was surprised.

“Don’t tell anyone I told you, because I’m supposed to sell the holsters we have in store here, but these CovertTacs are precisely what you need. Until I tried one myself, I didn’t realize how good they are. You can only buy it online, and it’s flying off the shelves. I guarantee that if you get one of those things, you’ll solve all your problems.

The confidence he showed in the CovertTac impressed me, but I was not going to just take his word for it. It was time to investigate on my own.

Seriously, I’ll never be without this

Wear it high up around the chest area for reverse side pull, right to left, great concealed carry, very nice under the arm, hides well, fits gun perfectly, and has a nice safety strap that wraps over the top.

– Nancy Winters, Texas

One of my best purchases this year…

A must-have! It fits my entire collection of handguns. Putting it on and taking it off is easy. I love it!

– Josh Richman, Kentucky

Comfortable and discrete, just what I was looking for

Feels great, I was worried about the gun strap clip, but it works well… My wife doesn’t really wear belts, she prefers athletic wear, so this holster is perfect for her compared to an iwb holster…

– Joe Abrada, Idaho

Having read the amazing reviews and the recommendation from my local firearms dealer, I was sold. I had to have ConverterTac.

Here are the results…

I ordered one from the official website. I received it in just two days. From the moment I opened the package I was blown away by the quality of the product; once I tried it on I could immediately tell the difference in how it looks and feels:

I was sure that this was exactly what I was looking for after wearing it every day for a week. This holster perfectly concealed my Sig Sauer P365 at my preferred 5 o’clock carry position. I especially loved the magazine pouch because it held my 10-round magazines with good stability. At that moment, I realized that I was able to carry while wearing a t-shirt and basketball shorts if I really wanted to, and that was an amazing feeling. I no longer had any restrictions on what I could wear for concealed carry. I can easily conceal my CovertTac under a regular shirt just like this:

There’s nothing better than this for comfort, conceal-ability, and functionality.

I feel comfortable carrying CovertTac every day because of its design. It quickly became obvious that this wasn’t just your basic CCW holster. It allows me to carry my firearm every day without having to worry about hard plastic holsters pinching and chafing my skin. I am thrilled with it. I love the holster’s fit, control, and comfort. It is extremely comfortable to wear either low or high on the waistband or shoulder.

One month ago, I gave my coworker a CovertTac as a birthday gift. He has been absolutely thrilled with the product. I’ve heard him reiterating over and over that without it, he would be unable to comfortably conceal and carry. He still thanks me for it after more than a month. “I didn’t realize carrying could be so comfortable. Just what I was looking for!”

Is It Worth The Cost?

Yes, absolutely! Despite wearing it every day for eight months since I first purchased it, my CovertTac is still holding with this holster, I don’t have to wear baggy clothes or worry about chafing and pinching, and I can carry my firearm comfortably. It gives me great confidence that I’m secure and I avoid uncomfortable stares from strangers when I carry my firearm. I now feel entirely comfortable concealing and carrying my firearm. Everyone needs to know about this!
